WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of December 5-11)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Jake Buchanan, Junior (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Guard of UW-Stevens Point 

Buchanan led all scorers with 15 points, his ninth-straight game in double figures to start the season, as UW-Stevens Point handed Trine University (Ind.) its first loss of the season on Dec. 7. He converted 6 of 13 field goal attempts and added one rebound and one blocked shot in 28 minutes of action.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL 

Kacie Carollo, Sophomore (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater), Guard of UW-Whitewater 

Carollo led the Warhawks to a 92-64 win over Augustana University (Ill.) on Dec. 7. She hit 8 of 11 from the floor, including 5 of 6 from three-point range for a field goal percentage of 72.7 and 83.3 from distance. She added a pair of steals, a blocked shot, an assist and three rebounds in the game. In nearly 28 minutes of action, Carollo scored a season-high 21 points.
