WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of January 23-29)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Miles Barnstable, Freshman (Sheboygan, Wis./Howards Grove), Guard of UW-Whitewater 

Barnstable led UW-Whitewater to a 74-71 win at No. 20-ranked UW-La Crosse on Jan. 25. He posted 25 points bolstered by 12 of 12 shooting from the free throw line. Barnstable added a pair of rebounds, two blocked shots, one assist and one steal in the contest.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL 

Maggie Trautsch, Junior (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie), Guard of UW-Whitewater 

Trautsch led UW-Whitewater to a 66-36 victory over UW-La Crosse with a season-high 25 points. She shot 9 of 14 from the floor, including 4 of 4 from beyond the three-point arc. Trautsch added four rebounds, a pair of assists, a blocked shot and a steal in the contest.
