Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Basketball Awards. The finalists for the top senior wing players have been selected. The winner will be announced the week after the state tournament. 

Demarion Burch, 6-4, G, Milwaukee Hamilton 
Few would argue with the contention Burch ranks right along with Lakeside Lutheran's Levi Birkholz as the most athletic player in the state's 2023 class. Burch's high-wire act at Hamilton was must-see basketball this winter and the Bradley University recruit responded by helping the Wildcats to a 21-7 record and WIAA Division 1 sectional-final appearance. Burch averaged 27.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals en route to earning first-team all-Milwaukee City Gold Conference honors. 

Tyran Cook, 6-3, G, Waukesha South
Although Cook's squad didn't perform as well as the others on the list -- South lost three starters to graduation from last year's Classic Eight Conference title team -- Cook nonetheless was outstanding for the Blackshirts. Despite being a marked man in the South line-up, Cook still manage to put up huge numbers at 24.6 ppg, 10.4 rpg and 3.1 apg while shooting 51 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the line. Cook earned Player of the Year honors in the Classic Eight as a junior and is a two-time first-team all-league selection.

Jamariea Dalton, 6-2, G, Fond du Lac
The most impressive numbers for Dalton center around the team performance for Fond du Lac ... 4-22 in 2021-22 to 19-7 and the Fox Valley Association championship in 2022-23. Dalton did it all for the Cardinals this winter, averaging 21.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals. His electric play on both ends of the court was the biggest reason Fond du Lac improved by 15 games over a year ago.

Marcus Hall, 6-7, G/F, D.C. Everest
The two-time Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference helped D.C. Everest to an 18-8 record and second-place showing in the league standings. Hall shot it well from the field (58 percent), foul stripe (81 percent) and three-point arc (43 percent). The UW-Green Bay recruit averaged 23.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists and completed his three-year varsity career with 1,534 points. 

Mac Wrecke, 6-5, G, Arrowhead
Once Wrecke finds his groove on the basketball court, he can completely take over a game. The Player of the Year in the Classic Eight Conference helped Arrowhead to the league title by averaging 18.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists. The rugged wing prospect shot 38 percent from the field, 85 percent from the line and 36 percent from three-point range. Wrecke, who has committed to Green Bay, needs just two points to reach 2,000 for his prep career and figures to reach that lofty standard when the Warhawks play Neenah in the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament.
