Kettle Moraine at Arrowhead

Yet another big-time game for Arrowhead, who has already defeated Marquette and Homestead in the non-conference season, though the Warhawks are still looking for a bit of a breakthrough performance offensively, with solid yardage totals but 21 points in each game. After winning the Division 2 state title last year, Kettle Moraine hasn't missed a beat this season with dominating wins over Racine Horlick and Ashwaubenon.

Stanley-Boyd at Fall Creek

Fall Creek is off to a 2-0 start with a tough Cloverbelt Conference schedule getting underway this week against a solid Stanley-Boyd squad. Regis' loss in Week 1 may suggest the league is a bit more open than expected, and the Orioles could be one of the teams ready to pounce. The team had more than 500 yards of offense in a 50-6 win over Marathon last week.

West Bend East at Nicolet

Both Nicolet and West Bend East made the playoffs last year, just the second time both squads made the postseason in the same year. Each is off to a 2-0 non-conference start and looking to carry that momentum over to North Shore play this week. Nicolet is averaging more than 300 rushing yards per game, including better than 200 yards per contest from senior Ben Ott, who played quarterback the past two seasons but is focusing on running back this year.

Sun Prairie East at Waunakee

Waunakee looks very much like Waunakee once again, with new names and faces filling in for the departed talent. While Beaver Dam is looking awfully tough, this showdown right out of the gates could well decide the Badger-Large Conference. After dropping a tough one to Mukwonago in Week 2, Sun Prairie East has to rebound quickly.

West Salem at Westby

West Salem opened with an emotional overtime win against Onalaska, but the Panthers followed that up with a bit of a letdown last week in a loss to Tomah. Can they rebound as conference season gets underway this week, facing off against a Westby team that has put up big numbers in back-to-back wins, averaging 60 points and more than 425 yards per game so far this season.
