Week 6 WisSports.net Team of the Week Nominees

Cashton Eagles

In a showdown between the top-ranked team in Division 7 and the second-ranked squad, Cashton edged out Bangor 14-10 and will remain on top of the rankings and the Scenic Bluffs Conference standings. Ethan Klinkner scored both touchdowns for the Eagles, including the game-winner with just a minute left in the fourth quarter.

Franklin Sabers

What a dominating performance it was for the Franklin Sabers on Thursday Night Throwdown, dominating rival Oak Creek 41-0. Terrence Shelton ran for 132 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries, while Joey Kallay was dynamite throwing the ball, completing 14-of-19 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. A lot of that went to Dylan Drajkowski, who had 136 yards and two scores.

Mosinee Indians

Mosinee remained in a tie for first place in the Great Northern Conference with a dominating 42-0 win over Rhinelander on Friday night. The Indians jumped out to a 21-0 first quarter lead, helped by a 65-yard Keagan Jirschele punt return score. The defense was the big story, though, limiting the Hodags to 59 total yards of offense while pitching the shutout.

Mukwonago Indians

Just a week after a frustrating 31-21 loss to Muskego in the Kwik Trip and Wisconsin Dairy Game of the Week, Mukwonago rebounded nicely for a 28-14 win over a very good Arrowhead team. The Indians put up 342 rushing yards, led by 221 yards and two touchdowns from junior Mason Radobicky.

Royall Panthers

Royall scored a vital 34-30 win over Highland in a crossover game to keep the Panthers' playoff hopes alive. Highland had not lost a Ridge & Valley game, while Royall entered winless in the Scenic Bluffs Conference. Jackson Bender had a big game, rushing 36 times for 193 yards and three touchdowns. Colin McKittrick added 98 yards and a score as well.
