Regis at Edgar

Regis won the Division 7 state title last year, including a dominating 53-8 win over Edgar in Level 3. The Wildcats are looking for revenge in this one, posting eight consecutive shutouts this season. Regis isn't the same team as they were last year, going 7-2 in the regular season, but the Ramblers still managed to share the Cloverbelt Conference title.

West De Pere at Kaukauna

This is the fourth meeting between these non-conference opponents in about 12 months, as West De Pere won twice last year, including Level 4, while Kaukauna scored a narrow 25-22 win in Week 2 this season. The quarterbacks, Finnley Doriot of Kaukauna (304 yards, 3 TD) and Duke Shovald of West De Pere (177 yards, 2 TD), were outstanding in that one.

Somerset at Mosinee

Mosinee won the Great Northern Conference title this year, though for the first time in four decades, the Indians drop down to Division 4. After hammering Bloomer in Level 1, Mosinee faces off against Somerset, who went on the road to beat Oconto Falls 38-12.

Bangor at Pepin/Alma

Bangor beat Pepin/Alma 40-21 in Level 3 last year, as the Cardinals ran for 364 yards and five touchdowns. The personnel has turned over for Bangor, but the powerful running game remains, averaging nearly 250 yards per game on the ground. Pepin/Alma hasn't really been challenged yet this year, winning every game by at least 18 points and most by running clock.

Middleton at Verona

These two have been the top teams in the Big Eight the last couple years since the realignment, but Verona has won the head-to-head matchup both seasons to capture the league title. Back in Week 4, Verona jumped out to a 21-0 second quarter lead and held on for a 28-21 victory over Middleton as Elijah Lagomasino threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns, Chase Bredeson ran for 105 yards, and Mike Valitchka caught five passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
