Football offensive stats leaders for 2023 season

2023 Rushing Leaders

After a promising sophomore campaign, Notre Dame running back Christian Collins really broke out as a junior, rushing for a state-high 2,503 yards this year with 40 touchdowns on 239 carries, as he averaged an impressive 10.5 yards per carry. Collins went over 200 rushing yards seven times, including a season-high 306 yards against Menasha to help the Tritons capture the FRCC-South crown, as the team advanced to the state semi-finals.

2023 Passing Leaders

Adam Skifton led the state with 2,944 passing yards as the Hilltoppers ended up sharing the Mississippi Valley Conference crown. The two-year starter completed 66.9% of his passes for with 39 touchdowns and five interceptions, good for a 128.9 passer rating. In two years guiding the Hilltoppers' offense as the starter, Skifton threw for 5,635 yards with 69 touchdowns, finishing with a 127.8 quarterback rating. The Augustana (SD) commit was recently announced as a WFCA Large School All-State selection and the 2023 Dave Krieg Award winner as part of the WSN Senior Football Awards.

2023 Receiving Leaders

Nick Kihn of Sussex Hamilton was a very good receiver as a junior last season but has stepped up as one of the state's best as a senior. After hauling in 47 passes for 567 yards in 12 games last year, Kihn eclipsed that this season, catching 80 passes for 1,181 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 14.8 yards per reception. He also had more than 500 return yards and a rushing touchdown this season as the Chargers tried to get the ball into his hands in a multitude of ways. Onalaska's Brodie Mickschl led the state with 86 receptions this season.
