WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of November 27 - December 3)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Logan Pearson, Senior (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Forward of UW-Platteville

Pearson became the 39th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points as he averaged 24.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game across a pair of Pioneer wins. He opened the week with 23 points of 7-of-12 shooting in a 71-54 win over Ripon College (Wis.) on Nov. 29, before reaching the 1,000-point plateau by scoring 26 points in just 16 minutes in a 97-54 win over Olivet College (Mich.) on Dec. 2. Against Olivet, Pearson shot 10-of-13 from the field and 5-of-6 from three, while adding three rebounds and three assists. He posted his first double-double of the season against Ripon by grabbing 10 boards and dishing out four assists, along with two steals and a block. For the week, Pearson shot 68.0 percent from the floor, 54.5 percent from three, and 90.0 percent from the free throw line.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Aleah Grundahl, Senior (DeForest, Wis./DeForest), Forward of UW-Whitewater

Grundahl continued her scoring streak with 27 points in a 74-63 win over No. 12-ranked University of Chicago (Ill.) on Dec. 2. She shot 10-of-22 from the field, making one three-pointer in the contest. Grundahl also pulled down nine rebounds (five offensive) and recorded two steals and two blocked shots. Earlier in the week, she recorded 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals in a 79-33 victory over Concordia University (Wis.) on Nov. 29.
