Pacelli junior Jaydon Awe has been selected as the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week for the week of November 27 - December 3 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,701 total votes this week. Awe topped all vote getters with 866 votes. Saint Croix Fall's Kelsey Cooper came in second with 521 votes.

The Pacelli boys basketball team has gotten some Awe-inspiring performances, Jaydon Awe that is, through the beginning part of this season. The 6'8" junior forward leads the state in rebounding with 29.5 and this past week he put up some monster numbers. First in an 81-30 win over Menominee Indian, Awe filled the box score with 19 points, 24 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and three steals. He one-upped it in a 79-58 win over Weyauwega-Fremont later in the week. Awe finished the game with an eye-popping 35 points, 36 rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

In an 87-25 win over Tri-County on Tuesday night, Awe continued his hot start, scoring 22 points and adding eight rebounds and four steals in just 14 minutes of playing time.
