Below are the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week Nominees for this week. Voting is open until Thursday at 2:00 pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 11-17

Ady Ketterhagen, Oostburg

Ketterhagen is one of the top sophomores in the state and led her team to a trio of wins this past week to improve to 7-1 on the season. First in a 91-39 blowout of Ozaukee, the 5'9" combo guard  had a game high 29 points while added eleven rebounds, four assists and three steals. She followed that up with 24 points, eight steals, six rebounds and five assists in a 79-35 win over Kohler. Ketterhagen finished her week stuffing the stat sheet yet again in a 69-58 victory over Waunakee. She finished with 20 points, ten rebounds and five assists.

Andrew Munson, North Crawford

Munson helped lead the undefeated North Crawford boys basketball team to a pair of impressive wins this past week. The 6'1" junior guard began by scoring 23 points and adding eight rebounds, five assists and five steals in a 74-59 win over Hillsboro. Munson followed that up with 11 points, 13 rebounds and four assists as the Trojans took down squeaked by Ithaca 55-54. Munson has led Crawford to a 7-0 start to the year and has been ranked in the WSN Coaches Poll every week in Division 5.

Addison Pytleski, Green Bay Southwest

Pytleski was impressive as she led her Southwest squad to a pair of victories this past week. The Fighting Trojans began their week with a 66-52 win over Manitowoc Lincoln. Pytleski, a Northern Michigan commit, scored a game high 37 points, connecting on seven of nine from three. She added nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. The 5'9" senior lead guard then had 18 points, ten rebounds, six assists and four steals in Green Bay Southwest's 42-20 win over Pulaski. Pytleski surpassed the 1,000 career point mark in the blowout win.

Cody Schmitz, G-E-T

Schmitz is one of the best scorers in the entire state and has been for the past two seasons. He impressed yet again this past week as the Red Hawks improved to 6-0 with a pair of Coulee Conference wins. First in an 87-75 win over Arcadia, Schmitz dropped a game high 39 points, making seven of eleven shots from beyond the arc. He followed that up with 41 points in an 83-77 win over undefeated and Division 4, fifth-ranked Luther. During his scoring output, Schmitz crossed the 2,000 point mark in his high school career.

Kendall Sundby, St. Croix Central

Sundby was a catalyst for the St. Croix Valley Fusion girls hockey team collecting a trio of wins this past week on the ice. The Fusion won their opening game over the Wester Wisconsin Stars by a score of 4-2. Sundby netted a pair of goals herself and assisted on another. The senior defender then netted a solo goal and assisted on three more in an 8-0 shutout of Red Wing. Sundby finished her week by assisting on three more goals as the Fusion beat the Central Wisconsin Storm 4-1.
