WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of January 29 - February 4)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Logan Pearson, Senior (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Forward of UW-Platteville

Pearson averaged 28.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game as the Pioneers secured wins over UW-Eau Claire and UW-River Falls during the week. He tallied a team-high 27 points on 8-of-20 from the floor and 11-of-11 from the free throw line, while adding eight rebounds and five assists in a 76-73 victory over the Blugolds on Jan. 31. He followed that up with 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, in an 82-73 road win over the Falcons on Feb. 3. Pearson grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists against UW-River Falls.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Raegan Sorensen, Junior (Centuria, Wis./Unity), Guard of UW-Stout

Sorensen led the Blue Devils to two wins with a pair of 20-point, 10 rebound double-doubles, while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Against UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 31, she shot 72.7 percent (8-of-11) for 22 points and 10 rebounds with an assist and a steal. Against No. 5-ranked Whitewater on Feb. 3, Sorensen scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds (six offensive) and had an assist and a steal.
