Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Basketball Awards. The finalists for the top senior post players have been selected. The winner will be announced the week after the state tournament. 

Jace Gilbert, 6-5, F, Arrowhead 
A physical specimen who uses his size, strength and skill to wreak havoc on opponents, Gilbert is a first-team all-Classic Eight Conference performer. He helped Arrowhead to the league championship and a sectional-final win over defending WIAA Division 1 state-champion De Pere by averaging 17.4 points and 10.5 rebounds. Gilbert is one of the state's more efficient players as he is shooting 65 percent from the floor. He has committed to Iowa State to play football. 

Will Hornseth, 6-8, F, De Pere
The Player of the Year in the Fox River Classic Conference, Hornseth helped De Pere to an unbeaten league record and a 26-2 overall record. His unselfishness and ability to play inside and outside were keys to De Pere's success. Hornseth averaged 16.6 points, 6.6 rpg and 3.1 apg in his final year of prep basketball. Hornseth completed his high school career with 1,450 points. He will play college basketball at Northern Iowa.

Isaiah Kastern, 6-5, Sr., F, Solon Springs
Kastern's mobility, athleticism and ability to be effective inside and outside typifies the modern big man. He owns a nasty post-up game, using his physical strength and stellar verticality to score over taller defenders in the lane. And he can pop outside and knock down three-point shots. Kastern led Solon Springs to its first appearance in the WIAA State Tournament by averaging 28.6 points and 10.1 rebounds. He will play college basketball at NCAA Division II Bemidji State. 

MJ Stackhouse, 6-9, F, Kenosha Indian Trail
It may not have been the team success Stackhouse was hoping for at the start of the season -- the Hawks finished 13-13 -- but Stackhouse nonetheless had a huge season. The athletic forward, who often soars to the basket for crowd-pleasing two-handed dunks, led the Southeast Conference in scoring (25.5 ppg) and rebounding (14.0 rpg). He shared Player of the Year honors in the league with Termarion Brumby of league-winner Racine Case. Stackhouse will play college basketball for coach Bart Lundy at Milwaukee. 

Grant Warren, 6-10, F/C, Marathon
The two-time Player of the Year in the Marawood South Conference spearheaded Marathon's 27-1 record and trip to the WIAA State Tournament by averaging robust numbers of 22.3 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.8 blocked shots. His length and bounce are impressive as is his ability to play out of the high or low post. The three-year varsity performer enters the state tournament with 1,672 career points. He will play college basketball at NCAA Division II Michigan Tech.
