Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Basketball Awards. The finalists for the top senior defensive players have been selected. The winner will be announced the week after the state tournament. 

Jacob Erickson, 6-1, G, Unity
Erickson played an instrumental role in the success at Unity, which went 25-2 and advanced to the WIAA Division 4 sectional semifinals before falling to Cameron. Unity won the Lakeland West title by five games over second-place Turtle Lake and Erickson was huge on both ends of the court. He finished third on the club in scoring at 7.4 ppg, but also ranked first in rebounding (4.9 rpg), assists (4.4 apg) and steals (4.2 spg). In his two years of varsity play, Erickson recorded 199 steals while helping Unity to a combined 48-3 record.

Tamarrein Henderson, 6-3, G, West Salem 
Henderson uses his lateral quickness, physical size and strength, and relentless energy to harass opposing backcourt players. The NCAA Division 2 recruit for the University of Mary helped West Salem to WIAA State Tournament appearances in each of the past three seasons, and his defense played a huge role in the Panthers' success. Henderson recorded 49 steals and 26 blocks this year while also averaging 19.6 points and 6.0 rebounds. West Salem has won 80 of 87 games with Henderson on the floor over the past three seasons.

Sekou Konneh, 6-9, F, Saint Thomas More
Konneh protects the basket for Saint Thomas More with his ability to clean the glass and block/alter shots. The senior forward runs the court very well and is aggressive around the hoop with his scoring, rebounding and shot blocking. Konneh is averaging 22.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists while also leading the team with 37 blocked shots. He also has 41 steals for the Cavaliers.
  
TJ Lamb, 6-3, G, Almond-Bancroft
Lamb is a thief on the court as his 180 steals helped Almond-Bancroft to a 27-1 record and the school's first appearance in the WIAA State Tournament. The son of long-time Eagles' coach Curt Lamb, TJ Lamb ranks second in the state in steals per game at 6.4 spg. In addition to his great anticipation on defense, Lamb also contributes 17.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game for Almond-Bancroft.

Henry Meyer, 6-3, G, La Crosse Central
Meyer provided senior leadership for a young La Crosse Central squad, especially with his prowess on the defensive end of the court. Meyer's ability to guard different positions and his mobility, size and strength made it difficult for opposing guards and wings to score. Meyer earned first-team all-Mississippi Valley Conference honors while helping the Riverhawks to a 14-12 record.
