Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Basketball Awards. The finalists for the top senior shooters have been selected. The winner will be announced the week after the state tournament. 

Logan Bahr, 6-7, F, Luther
Bahr was on fire from deep pretty much the entire season for the Knights. He made 85 of 170 attempts from outside the arc for a very impressive 50 percent. The UW-LaCrosse recruit is a four-year varsity performer at Luther and finished his prep career with 1,512 points and 248 three-point baskets. Bahr averaged 23.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists as a senior.

Joey Butz, 5-11, G, River Falls
The Player of the Year in the Big Rivers Conference, Butz is one of the state's elite shooters, both inside and outside the three-point arc. He shot 54 percent from the floor and 90 percent from the foul line. And from deep, Butz made 87 of 208 tries for 42 percent. He finishes his high school career with 1,146 points and 169 three-point baskets. 

Tim Franks, 6-5, G, Homestead
Best known for his ability to put the ball in the basket from deep, Franks enjoyed a stellar senior season and was recently named Player of the Year in the North Shore Conference. The University of St. Thomas recruit made 83 of 189 attempts from three this winter for 44 percent. He averaged 27.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Franks finished his prep career with 1,923 points and 238 made triples.

Derrick (DJ) Johnson, 6-2, G, Dominican
Johnson excelled at spotting up outside the three-point arc in Dominican's high-octane offense. The NCAA Division III recruit for Loras College made 90 of 204 tries from outside the arc for 44 percent while helping Dominican to a 22-4 record. During his four years of varsity basketball, Johnson made 324 three-point shots and scored 1,388 points. 

Kon Knueppel, 6-6, G, Wisconsin Lutheran
Knueppel moved from the wing to point guard for his senior season, but that didn't stop the Duke recruit from making shots. Even with multiple defenders often in his face, Knueppel managed to average 26.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 85 percent from the free-throw line, 39 percent from three (68 of 173) and 59 percent from the floor.
