Aquinas lost to Saint Croix Falls in the Division 3 State Championship game last year and are the favorite to get back to the title game again in 2024. Having just lost two seniors to graduation, the Blugolds will have a ton of experience returning led by Winona State commit Tanner Peterson, who pitched a 9-1 record with a 1.19 ERA last year. Senior Will Deets is a returning All-Mississippi Valley Conference pitcher. Kole Keppel and Cullen Sackman are both proven bats in the lineup and  senior Eddie Peters bolsters both the rotation and batting order.

Lake Country Lutheran, Lomira, Cambridge, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood sits two through five in the preseason standings.

Below are the full WBCA Preseason Coaches Poll rankings published and courtesy of the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook. The 2024 book is the 32nd edition, 304 pages in length, and in full color.
