Pewaukee's Nick Janowski has been selected as the top senior Point Guard as part of the WSN Senior Basketball Awards.
An aggressive player on offense and a vocal leader for his team, Janowski helped Pewaukee to a 25-5 record and second-place finish in the WIAA Division 2 State Tournament.
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 30.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists while shooting 53 percent from the field, 84 percent from the free throw line and 37 percent from three-point range.
The Nebraska recruit played on Pewaukee's state-championship teams in 2021, 2022 and 2023 before finishing as runner-up this season.
Janowski scored 2,297 career points for the Pirates and made 294 three-point baskets. He also had 606 rebounds and 357 assists.
Finalists for the award were Janowski, Dupree Fletcher Jr. of Carmen Northwest, Jaquan Johnson of Pius XI Catholic, Eric Kenesie of Kenosha St. Joseph and Drew Tomashek of Ashwaubenon.
