WisSports.net produced its first basketball showcase event more than 19 years ago, and it has become the premier one-day individual basketball event in the state.

We have added a spring event for 2024, the WSN Spring Basketball Spotlight that is open to boys athletes, and will once again feature Wisconsin's top basketball players showing their stuff in front of college coaches from around the Midwest.

Spotlight Information

The Spotlight is held at Verona High School on Sunday, April 21st. The address is 234 Wildcat Way, Verona, WI 53593. All games will be held in the fieldhouse.

Boys Schedule

It is absolutely FREE to college coaches wishing to attend, with no charge for college coaches for admission and we do not charge for roster packets.

WisSports.net boys basketball writer Mark Miller will be on hand to cover the boys event. Look for full write-ups on the Spring Spotlight on WisSports.net shortly after the event.

- There are no special guidelines or protocols at Verona High School with no spectator limitations. Masks are optional. If you or your player feel unwell or are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home.

- Players will be directed to a check-in area upon entering the school. You will be provided your numbered, reversible jersey at that time. DO NOT switch this jersey with another player, as it identifies you to all in attendance, including college coaches. Please note that players will be asked to remove and reverse jersey color at times.

- Attendees: PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALL AS THERE WILL BE NONE PROVIDED

- UW Health Sports Medicine will be there and provide an athletic trainer on site.

- Spectators wishing to watch the Spotlight are welcome to attend. A $5 entry fee will be collected for all non-players and non-college coaches. No solicitation by AAU coaches, trainers, recruiting services, etc.
