Erickson and the Cedar Grove-Belgium girls soccer team traveled to Bettendorf, Iowa this past weekend and came away with a 3-0 record at the Tournament of Champions. Erickson accounted for both goals in the 2-0 win over Pekin to start the tournament off, scoring a lone goal and assisting on another. The junior forward then accounted for all the Rocket's goals again in a 4-0 win over IC Catholic Prep, netting and assisting on two goals each. Erickson finished the tournament off by netting another two goals as Cedar Grove-Belgium finished off its undefeated weekend with a 4-0 win over St. Charles out of Missouri.

Landon Larson, Appleton East

Larson was all over the pitch this past week, helping the Appleton United boys lacrosse team to a pair of victories. The senior attacker scored three goals and assisted on two others in a 10-9 win over the Wausau Wild. Larson followed that up with three goals and four assists in a 14-1 throttling of De Pere Central. He put constant pressure on the opposing defenses in the two matches with a combined twelve shots on goal. For the season, he's tied for fourth in the state with 39 total points scored.

Tyler Reiter, Prescott

Reiter was on his game this past week competing in two meets, taking first in one and second in the other. The junior golfer shot a 73 at the Whitetail Invitational at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, finishing just two strokes behind the leader. His finish helped the Prescott boys golf team finish in first place as a team however. Later in the week, Reiter competed in the Bloomer Invitational at the Bloomer Memorial Golf Course. He was the top finisher, shooting a 72, which was one stroke better than two other golfers.

Austin Remingon, Mondovi

Remington was exceptional from both the pitcher's plate and the batter's box this past week as the Mondovi baseball team went 3-0. The senior utility player took got the start and got the win Monday against Spring Valley, going five and two-thirds innings, striking out twelve batters and allowing two earned runs on four hits. From the plate, he went three for four with two RBIs and a run scored in the 7-4 victory. He then went one for three with a run scored in the 3-1 win over Colfax. Remington collected three more hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored in a 7-3 victory over Fall Creek. He pitched two innings to close things out, striking out four of the seven batters he faced.

Sydney Vitangcol, Wisconsin Lutheran

Vitangcol is one of the top players in the state and proved her prowess this past weekend, twirling a perfect game to start her week off. In a 4-0 win over New Berlin West, the Wisconsin commit was untouchable. She pitched a complete game, did not allow a single base runner, and struck out 19 of the 21 batters she faced; an utterly dominant performance. The junior hurler took the loss in the following 2-0 defeat to New Berlin Eisenhower. Again Vitangcol was great on the mound, striking out fourteen batters and allowing the two runs on just five hits. In the three games she also was great offensively, going four for ten from the plate; all singles. She added three walks and two runs scored.
