Franklin senior Parker Fraser has been selected as the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week for the week of May 13-19 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,161 total votes this week. Fraser topped all vote getters with 1,257 votes. Independence/Gilmanton's Brandon Sylla came in second with 1,084.

Fraser shot the lowest round total of any golfer in the state in the conference championships this past weekend, taking home top honors at the Southeast Conference meet. The senior golfer shot a 68 at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine last Thursday to win medalist honors in his final regular season meet. His 68 was five shots better than the second place finisher and helped Franklin to a team-title with a overall score of 298.

Fraser finished tied for ninth this week competing in the Marquette Regional. He shot an 80 at the Brown Deer Golf Course.
