Thursday marks the second installment of one of the best rivalries in the state as the state's #4-ranked team Madison East hosts seventh-ranked Madison Memorial with city, state, and conference bragging rights on the line. East has already clinched at least a share of the conference crown for the first time since the 1992-93 season, but if they win they will be the outright Big Eight champs, ending Memorial's six-year run at the top. If Memorial wins, they will claim a share of the conference title with East, their seventh straight.
