I got my start in sports: playing catch with my dad in the backyard. I began playing baseball
and basketball in kindergarten.
Baseball highlights: Two-time letterwinner and starting center fielder … earned Eastern Wisconsin Conference first-team honors and served as a co-captain as a senior … Earned all-conference second-team honors as a junior.
2010 stats: batted .385 (35-of-91) with seven doubles, one triple, three home runs, 18 runs scored and 27 RBI … drew seven walks, was hit by a pitch and posted a .582 slugging percentage … had 10 stolen bases.
2010 team highlights: Huskies finished second in Eastern Wisconsin Conference with 10-8 record and finished 18-11 overall. New Holstein was champion of its own sectional to advance to state for the fourth year in a row. The Huskies lost to West Salem 9-2 in the state quarterfinals.
Other sports honors: two-time letterwinner and starter at forward/guard as a senior.
This and that: participated in KTI Peer Helper Retreat … member of Honor Roll throughout high school … member of Ice Fishing Club … volunteer work includes serving as a youth basketball referee and baseball umpire … works on grandparents and uncles farms part-time.
