I wish I could have played: tennis, golf and lacrosse
I got my start in sports: playing tee-ball and basketball when I was 5 years old, golf in first grade, tennis in second grade and football in fifth grade.
Baseball highlights: three-time letterwinner and three-year starter … started in outfield as a sophomore and at first base as a junior and senior … earned Southern Badger Conference first team honors as a senior and sophomore and honorable mention all-conference recognition as a junior … co-captain as a senior … received Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association all-district honorable mention honors as a senior … competed in the WBCA All-Star Classic in Oshkosh June 25-26.
2010 stats: in 29 games, batted .393 (35-for-88) with 21 runs scored, seven doubles, three triples and 24 RBI … was 9-of-9 in stolen bases, drew 15 walks … drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and had nine putouts at first base in state semifinals.
2010 team highlights: Crusaders finished second in Southern Badger Conference (7-4) and finished 18-9 overall, losing in WIAA Division 2 state semifinals 8-7 to eventual state champion University School of Milwaukee.
2009 team highlights: Crusaders won Southern Badger Conference title, finishing with a 10-2 record, and won WIAA Division 2 state title, finishing 25-4 overall.
Other sports honors: two-time letterwinner and two-year starter at running back and outside linebacker in football … three-time letterwinner and a two-year starter at forward in basketball … earned Southern Badger Conference honorable mention honors and was a co-captain as a senior … played for Southern Badger Conference All-Stars in 2010 Badger Conference Senior All-Star Game … Crusaders won league title as a junior and advanced to WIAA Division 2 sectional championship game his junior and senior years.
