BASEBALL



Position



Mickey Fadness, Senior (Eau Claire/Memorial), Catcher of UW-Oshkosh

Fadness hit .529 (9-of-17) with nine RBI and four runs scored as UW-Oshkosh won three of its four games against UW-La Crosse.  Fadness compiled a slugging percentage of .706 and an on-base percentage of .619.  He also tallied three doubles and one stolen base.  Fadness handled all 13 of his fielding opportunities behind the plate with an error.  In a 7-1 win over UW-La Crosse on May 8, Fadness went 1-for-5 at the plate with a double.  He then went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and a double in the Titans 12-3 victory over the Eagles in the nightcap.  Against UW-La Crosse on May 9, Fadness concluded his UW-Oshkosh career by going 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI during an 11-7 win and 3-for-5 at the plate with four RBI during a 9-8 loss (10 innings).

Joel Delorit, Junior (Sturgeon Bay/Southern Door), Lefthanded Pitcher of UW-Stevens Point

In his 2010 final start of the regular season on May 8, Delorit pitched his third straight eight-inning complete game and earned his sixth win of the year as UW-Stevens Point earned a 10-0 victory.  He shutout UW-Stout allowing two hits, while facing 26 batters.  Delorit allowed one hit in the first inning, a walk in the third and was perfect until the sixth inning when he allowed a single.  Delorit s 11 strikeouts added onto his team high of 78 for the season.
