I also play:
football, basketball, track & field

I got my start in sports: playing coach pitch baseball when I was six years old, basketball in second grade, football in fifth grade and track and field as a sophomore.

I wish I could play:
hockey.

Baseball highlights:
Four-time letterwinner and four-year starter for Vikings, who are 21-1 overall and Six Rivers East Conference champion (11-1) this season ... two-time first-team all-conference selection and co-captain as senior.

2009 stats: Bats lead-off … hitting .508 with 43 runs scored, 26 RBI, 19 stolen bases and 17 walks … pitching stats: 5-0, two saves, 0.28 ERA in 32 2/3 innings pitched with 58 strikeouts.

Other sports highlights: Two-time first-team All-Six Rivers Conference running back … led Vikings in rushing and receiving as a senior when he also earned all-area honors … sprinter on track team … placed at 2007 state meet in 400- and 800-meter relays … qualified for sectionals in 100 and 200 dashes as a senior.

Team bonding moment: bus trip to Miller Park on May 3 to see the Brewers beat Arizona.

Baseball superstitions: Always wear long pants, put Icy Hot on my throwing arm and take four Advil before every game.

I want to visit: Boston s Fenway Park

I like playing baseball because: it is more relaxing and laid-back than football.

Favorite athlete: LeBron James.

Favorite baseball player: Albert Pujols

Favorite team: Milwaukee Brewers

Favorite Brewer: Ryan Braun

Favorite meal: Chinese food

Role model: football coach Pat McGettigan.

My family includes: my parents, Don and Blanche, brother, Vance, sister, Holly.

I drive: a 1998 Bonneville, which is green with a red mirror

Dream car: a Barracuda

I like Pecatonica High School because: I know everybody and our teachers are sweet.

On my IPod: everything but country.

Fantasy: playing guitar in a rock band

Post-high school plans: attend UW-Platteville to play football and baseball.

Outlook on life: Take it day by day.
