Carthage College knocked off UW-Whitewater Monday afternoon in the championship round of NCAA Central Regional.  It took two games to do it however, as the Warhawks forced a deciding game with a 4-2 win earlier in the day Monday.  While Carthage is located in Wisconsin, only six of their 30-man active roster hail from America's Dairyland.  Most of the roster is from the state of Illinois.

Carthage will take on College of Wooster (OH) Friday morning at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, WI, the home of the DIII College World Series since 2000.
