Three taters in one game!

New Richmond senior right fielder Paige Spaulding hit 3 home runs (over the fence) in her first three at bats of the game last week when New Richmond beat Fargo North in the Robbinsdale, MN tournament.  That has never been done in the history of New Richmond softball.

Spaulding (great softball name eh?) joins Poynette's Kelsey Squires as the only Wisconsin High School players to ever hit three "automatic" home runs in one game. Squires did it in a game against Randolph in 2006 at the Poynette Jamboree. She also had a double in that game.

If there have been other Wisconsin girls to achieve that feat, none of them have ever been reported to The Fastpitch Chronicle. If there have been, just e-mail Bob that information.
