Hello Everyone – This will be a short but important bulletin and I am mailing it directly into your in-box as well as posting it on the wissports.net site.

 

I ve been trying to get something similar to what you were all accustomed to on The Fastpitch Chronicle website. A system whereby you can scroll down through the scores from the day or the day before or even any day during the season.

 

Nicholas at wissports.net came through for me and you over the weekend. Now if you click on the "Reports" word on the options line of the softball page, you will be able to scroll down through every score that had a game report typed for it.

 

That means that everybody needs to start reporting games on the site by using the newspaper box score option from the game reporting page.

 

Once you enter the game score report it automatically goes to the Reports page and the Scoreboard page.

 

It only takes about five minutes or less to do a report. It doesn t take any longer that what it takes to type up a line score report to me the way it was done in the past.

 

Conferences using other stat programs must understand that it won t transfer that way. So MaxPreps doesn t work. If I get a report in my e-mail I will list the score or post if the two schools have their schedules on the wissports site.

 

To get directions on how to report the score just go to Fastpitch Bulletin #26 on the wissports site. The instructions are printed out there for you.

 

If we can get most everyone on board, the game will really get interesting.
