Nekoosa - Coach Nathan Strehlau 5th Year- Nekoosa is returning 7 starters from last years team that went 2-8 in conference.  We are returning 3 2nd team all-conference players.  The whole infield has returned from last year and hopefully can improve on a solid year last year.  Overall the girls are excited about the season  and are looking for improvement everyday.

Wisconsin Dells - Coach Dale Gray -

Mauston - Coach Dawn Nelson, 7th year as head coach

Westfield - Coach Mary Mades -

Adams-Friendship - Coach Marilyn Rogers - 4th year - After placing 2nd in the conference, A-F returns sophomore pitcher, Amanda Griese. She has been has been working hard since our last game (with Jim Getzloff and the Turba girls from Assumption). So we will be looking for big things from her. Even as a freshman starter she had the composure of a veteran. We are also returning senior Jessica Schultz in the outfield, strong on offense and defense. Other returnees are our catcher, first basemen, outfielders. Our infield last year (except for 1st,) was all seniors - including Player of the Year, Kris Peterson. But a group of dedicated, hard working (off season) athletes will be ready and capable to step into those positions. We are looking forward to a good year!

Wautoma - Coach Leslie Fugate (2nd Year)

Looking to fill the spots left by 6 graduating players from 2007 - including 3

All Conference Players.  The return of all conference Pitcher/Catcher Duo, Beth

Klemann & Rachael Barth takes some of the sting away.  The ability of new

players to adjust to new roles will determine the Hornet's success this season.
