Rock Valley

The Rock Valley is a very competitive conference. Over the past 5-10 years it's been Brodhead, Parkview and Turner taking home the gold. Brodhead won a state title in Division 3 in 2004 while Turner was state runner-up in 2002 (first state tourney at Goodman Diamond). Parkview always seems to be right in there as well. Rich Brandl, at Clinton is in his 26th year of coaching and always has a competitive team. There are just a few coaches in Wisconsin with more years of service than him.

Turner - Coach Bob Sulser In 2008 Turner returns 2 seniors, one junior and 1 sophomore that were starters, and fortunately one is senior pitcher Ilse Fritz, a 2007 All-State Honorable Mention. Turner will be young, and it will be a challenge, but with Fritz returning they hope to be in the top 3 in the Rock Valley Conference. Indoor drills will certainly be the "order of the day...or weeks"!!

Brodhead - Coach Steve Krupke, 9th Year - Brodhead graduated only one senior and returns 10 players with starting experience. Returners include All-Conference players Jordan Riese (outfield), Kayla Stampfli (pitcher), Taylor Chapman (catcher), Paige Hoeper (2nd Base) and Courtney Mielke (utility). There is quite a bit of returning talent but there are some very talented newcomers that will provide depth and competition at all positions.

Parkview - Coach Connie Markee - 1st Year

Edgerton - Coach Tony DeWar -

Clinton - Coach Rich Brandl, 26th year - Clinton will be spending the first weeks of practice developing a catcher. Our senior catcher had knee surgery and the doctor will not let her catch. The young lady who was going to move to catcher underwent knee surgery two weeks ago and is out for the season. Besides the catching position, we will be looking to fill two outfield positions and third base.
