Wayland Academy - Coach Judy Hill - Wayland went undefeated in Midwest Division of MCC in 2007. Returning five all-conference players, all from the infield:
Soph pitcher Megan Connell, 2007 player of the year as freshman for Midwest Division of MCC- ERA of .64 and batting average of .327; Senior Cassie McLeod, Senior Katie Corbin, Junior Amberly Ritchie, and Jr Sarah Janisewski. Other starters that are returning include Mary Miller, Karolyn Burwitz, and Julia Swanke. Newcomers Amanda Tramm and Lexi Hoffman should add to the veterans contributions. Wayland looks to build on the strong game they played in the regional last year against WIlliams Bay in a 2-0 decision.
