Verona - Coach Chad Tuescher,4th year - Verona returns five starters from last year including pitcher Bev Nordin (2nd Team All-State) and shortstop Julia Burns (Honorable Mention All-State) but must find a way to replace the offensive production of departed seniors Katie Hendrickson, Marti Meyer and Karli Heath.  In order to compete Verona will have to show consistency both on offense and defense.

Monroe - Coach Dale Buvid - The Monroe softball team will be competing for its 17th consecutive winning season. Eleven letter winners (including all

conference performers Renee Schuttler, Maggie Schuttler, Kayla Rackow, and

Emily Rufenacht) return from a team that finished 17-7 a year ago. Monroe

will have no shortage of quality pitchers as seniors Rennee Schuttler and

Carlie Olsen, along with junior Meghan Roberts give the Cheesemakers three

quality arms. Monroe also returns half of its starting infield and outfield. The team will need to replace All Conference Shortstop Sydnee Wyss and All Conference Catcher Brittany Kundert as well as improve offensively to compete with Verona and the other top teams in the Badger South.

McFarland - Coach Dave Halverson - 1st Year - McFarland softball has a new & exiting look this year. With a 400 plus win coach and an all state pitcher to replace, the team is definitely up for the challenge. Returning is a very solid defense with everyone returning from a 19-4 season last year. Three girls (Ashley Brown, senior,Shauna O"Malley, junior, and Alissa Hinze)look to prove themselves in the circle as Andrea Steinhofer-shortstop, Lindsey Reno-catcher, Haeli Kruse-center field, Jena Blaser-utility and Kelsey Schluter should be a lot of fun to watch as the season goes. Good luck to all and we look forword to playing you.

Monona Grove - Coach Sherry Melde, 5th year, - Assistant Coaches Dick Schmitz and Jim Smecko

Oregon -

Stoughton -Coach Todd Kittelson-- 5th Year -
