Hello Everyone - It's been a while since a Bulletin has been sent out. There is no school in Poynette or the Madison area today so I am taking some time to type one up and get it out to you.

The WFSCA clinic is a week from Saturday and Sunday so don't forget about that. If you can't make it to the clinic, then be sure to send in your WFSCA dues to Jane Briehl.

There are several other clinics around the state for players and coaches in February as well. UW-Oshkosh will host a clinic this Sunday at Oshkosh North for players in grades 9-12. The cost is $60 per athlete. It is for pitchers and catchers. On February 23-24th UW-Oshkosh will host a Hitting, Infield and Outfield Clinic at the college. Contact Cindy Suess for more information. Those clinics are great ways to get things going for your players prior to the season starting. Contact her at syessc@uwosh.edu and take it from there.

There is a clinic in McFarland this weekend where the UW-Eau Claire staff and team will be doing the instructing. Contact Jim Wickert for information about that one. - jwick16060@aol.com will get you in touch with him.

Matt Bellerive, Head Coach at Pepin has been in contact with me. He is sick of winter as most of us are. He is announcing a summer fastpitch tournament for adult women. You can contact Matt at mattselectric@centurytel.net to get more information.

Schools that are planning on playing in the Poynette Jamboree in 2008 should take note that I will post a list soon in a bulletin. I know there are some teams that may not have received a contract yet from our AD. Let me know right away if you are one of those teams. The Jamboree will expand this year to another great venue - that being Portage. We see the Jamboree as being a much bigger event starting in 2009 when everyone's schedule expands to more games. Therefore, we are making the expansion already. Thanks to Portage Athletic Director Jim Langkamp and Head Coaches Amy Ziehn and Dave Mills in Portage for being receptive to the new expansion.

Have a great day and as always

Keep it Rising!
