Wisconsin Sports Network is excited to announce the launch of two new sections of their website, WiSsports.net, -- Boys and Girls Volleyball-- to the 2009 fall sports coverage.

With support from the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association, WSN hopes to become the one-stop shop for all the scores, schedules, standings and other information from around the state, providing positive recognition and exposure for volleyball student-athletes.

Volleyball has the third highest participation rate of all sports among high school girls in the United States, and over 470 Wisconsin high schools support a girls team. On the boys' side, 51 high schools sport a program. Wisconsin is also home to numerous storied club teams and has produced thousands of collegiate volleyball athletes.

Content Producer Jay Messar and Volleyball blogger Ty Cleveland will serve as WSN's main contacts for the sport. In Ty's blog, you can find links, features and other musings surrounding one of the most dynamic sports in the state.

Coaches-- please send us any contact information, rosters, or schedules you can via the Contact Us option to improve our coverage of the sport. We will also have a stats tool available for coaches to enter scores, stats, and more. The success of this site and recognition for your athletes depends highly on your participation.
