A great line-up of speakers, tremendous networking opportunities and top-notch raffle prizes will once again be at this year's WBCA Fall Clinic which takes place on September 30th & October 1st at the Madison Marriott West.

Speakers include Bo Ryan, Wisconsin; Brad Stevens, Butler; Ben Jacobson, Northern Iowa; Rob Jeter, UW-Milwaukee; Lisa Stone, Wisconsin; Greg Gard, Wisconsin and Gary Grzesk, St. Norberts.

Raffle prizes include a 72" outdoor basketball hoop with padding, Dells get-a-ways, coach gear and tickets to the Bucks, Badgers, Golden Eagles, Phoenix and Panthers.  Another new addition to the clinic will be a Thursday night shuttle which follows the complementary social and special WBCA lunch deals at local restaurants.

A man that really needs no introduction to those living in the Badger state, Bo Ryan will make a return appearance to the WBCA Clinic.  Ryan has compiled a 217-82 record at the helm for the Badgers which includes nine straight NCAA tournament births, three conference titles and two Big Ten Tournament championships.  There is also the four championships at the NCAA DIII level while coaching Platteville in the mid eighties to late nineties.  Bo will kick off the clinic on Thursday at 6:00 and will be followed by his long time assistant, coach Greg Gard.

Brad Stevens took his Butler Bulldogs all the way to the National Championship game this past season before coming just short against Duke.  In this three years at the helm at Butler he has captured three Horizon League titles and has compiled a 89-15 record.  Stevens speaks on Friday afternoon at 2:25.

Ben Jacobson and his Northern Iowa squad made headlines in the second round last year with a 69-67 upset of number one seeded Kansas.  Jacobson's squad featured Ashwaubenon brothers Jake & Adam Koch and boasted a 30-4 record while taking home the Missouri Valley Conference crown last season.  They even won an ESPY for best upset.  Jacobson speaks for two sessions on Thursday night from 7:05 to 8:05 and 8:30 to 9:30.

Rob Jeter will be speaking at 10:30 on Friday morning at the clinic.  Jeter has been at the helm for UW-Milwaukee the past five seasons after being assistant stints at UW-Platteville, Marquette, UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin.  Jeter holds a 82-75 record at UW-Milwaukee including one NCAA tournament birth.

Hot off a season that landed her Big Ten Coach of the Year honors Lisa Stone is back at the WBCA Fall Clinic.  Stone led the Badgers to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2002 and only the seventh time in program history.  In her 25 years of coaching at the collegiate level she has compiled a 497-222 record and begins her 8th year at the helm for Wisconsin this season.

Also featured at the clinic will Gary Grzesk from St. Norberts and all the coaches who won state championships at the high school level in Wisconsin last year.

The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is comprised of over 3,000 members at all levels of basketball within the state. The Goals of the WBCA are:

-Promote and maintain the highest possible standards in the coaching profession in our state.

-Work together with the WIAA for the improvement of conditions along with the promotion of Wisconsin high school basketball.

-Secure a better understanding of the problems that face coaching professionals and provide information and assistance to member coaches to better deal with these issues.

-Help resolve mutual problems of basketball coaches and to provide and promote for its members the latest coaching methods and techniques of teaching basketball.

-Foster good fellowship and social contact among coaches, referees and other key stakeholders in the game.
