Hartford - The Orioles were the last team to beat Wisconsin Lutheran in Little Ten Conference play, back on September 14, 2007. Friday night, Hartford repeated that feat in a 23-18 victory. Caleb Mertens caught a pair of touchdowns, including a 99-yarder from Mike Scherr in the third quarter, and Joseph Glynn went in from 2 yards out to provide the winning score. Hartford moves to 2-0 in the conference standings.

Northwestern - Northwestern came into this week ranked #3 in the Division 4 Coaches Poll while Bloomer was #5. The Tigers broke open a close game that was tied 7-7 after the first quarter, and pulled away for a 41-7 victory to cement their place atop the HON. Kasey Leggate and T.J. Polkoski combined for 242 yards and four scores and Tyler Forsythe caught a pair of touchdowns as well.

Notre Dame - The Tritons scored on a 20 yard touchdown pass from Mike Sullivan to Peter Mortell in overtime and secured 27-20 win over previously unbeaten Bay Port to shake things up a bit in the FRCC race. Sullivan threw for 196 yards and two scores while Alex Miller ran for 115 yards and 1 score. The game was so close the official had to get down on his hands and knees to check the measurement of Bay Port's final play in overtime; alas it came up just short and the game was over.

Randolph - Everyone knows the Rockets from basketball, where they've won eight state titles. More and more people are starting to know them from the gridiron, where they are starting to raise the level of their program. Head coach Pat Winch's squad dominated host Rio 48-0 in a game pitting two of the top teams in the Trailways-Small. Brian Kampstra ran for 146 yards and scored four touchdowns in the win.

Sauk Prairie - Sauk Prairie shocked defending D3 champ Reedsburg, jumping out to a 23-0 lead and taking a 30-6 advantage into halftime. The Eagles held on for a 51-30 win and put themselves in position for a potential playoff berth for the first time since 2007. Kenneth McNeal, Brendan Coy, Erik Meyers, Dan Brennan, and Clayton Bohler all had big games for the Eagles.
