Favorite Sport: “I like playing all three sports because I am a competitive person. Of the three, I would say volleyball is my favorite. I have the most fun with it. It’s definitely the one I enjoy the most.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “I like the fact you can have the camaraderie of being on a team while also enjoying the rest of the school experience. You can balance the two out and have a great time.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “It would definitely have to be my junior year in volleyball. As a sophomore, we were a pretty weak program. In my junior year, we got a new coach and we were able to really turn things around. We won conference for the first time in a very long time so that year was really special.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “The best advice came from my dad, who was the head coach in basketball my sophomore year and is now an assistant coach. He always says you have to be humble but hungry. That means you need to be humble in victory , but it also means to not be satisfied and remain hungry to want more.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The best part is the opportunity to compete year round. I know so many people who once they are done with their sport, they are done. Going from sport to sport to sport, it’s working hard and competition all year round.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “Definitely, balancing between friends, family, school and sports. It’s easy to get consumed into the sport. During basketball season, I also play club volleyball so it can be difficult to balance everything out all at the same time.”

Favorite Opponents: “It’s hard to say. Pewaukee and New Berlin Eisenhower are our biggest school rivals. I’ll go with Eisenhower because the cross-town rivalry always brings a lot of excitement.”

Favorite College Team: Lake Forest women’s basketball team. Older sister, Liz, is a member of the Lake Forest program.

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers.

Cumulative GPA: 4.0.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “When I was in eighth grade, I played against Sam Logic (of Racine Case) in the championship game of the Padre Serra Tournament. We ended up beating her team. I think I hit some free-throws in the closing seconds to win the game.”

College Plans: “I am looking to go into business. If I were to play sports in college it would be volleyball, whether the club or varsity level. I am looking at the University of Minnesota along with St. Olaf College and Minnesota State-Moorhead.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society member, Student Government, Math Team, volunteering at Holy Apostles Church, helping out with the youth programs at New Berlin West.

I Find it Relaxing to: “I like to take naps. Another thing that I do is a little unusual and it’s something that my friends and I joke about. I have the ability to memorize and retain license plates. Not personalized plates, but the plates with three letters and three numbers.”

Favorite Movie: Dodgeball.
