Favorite Sport: “Definitely basketball. I’ve played since I was little. My dad coached me all through eighth grade at St. Mary’s Grade School and with our traveling team. I was lucky to have him as a coach. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Probably just being with friends. Being in sports also makes you work harder in school to get good grades. You are always with your friends and there is always something fun going on. You learn a lot.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “There isn’t one specific thing that stands out. There have been so many big games we’ve played in as a team. All of those games are special and memorable. Beating Cuba City this year was fun after they kind of embarrassed us last year.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “I think it’s important to gain the respect of your coach. If you know your coach respects you, I think it’s easier. If you have the respect and trust of your coach, it’s easier to play. It’s important to have that trust.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “It’s a good thing because I am always doing something. There is never a dull moment. I am always with my friends and there is always something to do. I always stay in shape because I’m in the three sports.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “There are advantages and disadvantages. You are always gone. You don’t get home until late and sometimes you are tired and still have to do some homework.”

Favorite Opponents: “My favorite would be Prairie du Chien. We have played them since I was little and they have always been a fun team to play.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Team/Individual: Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics.

Cumulative GPA: 3.65.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “I always look forward to playing Courtney Lewis of Prairie du Chien. I’ve always played against her and she has always been a fun player to compete against. I also went to a camp with her. She’s an awesome player.”

College Plans: “I’m not sure where I am going right now, but I definitely want to play basketball. I want to go to school for nursing, but I need to find a school that fits me for basketball and nursing. I am looking at Platteville, Edgewood, Viterbo and Dubuque right now.”

Activities Outside of Sports: Student Council, National Honor Society, Red Cross Blood Cross, Future Business Leaders of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions.
