The seeding meetings are complete, even the contentious ones, and teams now officially know the map they'll need to follow on the road to the Kohl Center. That also means the regular season is drawing to a close, and that this will be the last WSN Coaches Poll of the year. From here on out, teams prove it all out on the court. Remember, in addition to the Coaches Poll you can also check out Team Stats, winning percentage and RPI by clicking here.

Division 1

Appleton East spent the latter half of the season in the #1 spot and will end there in the Coaches Poll. The Patriots are 21-0 and the only unbeaten team left in D1. Germantown, Milwaukee Riverside (who have yet to lose to an in-state team), and De Pere once again hold down spots 2 through 4, while defending champion Arrowhead sneaks into the #5 spot vacated when Racine Case lost to Kenosha Bradford, dropping the Eagles to #8 in the final rankings. Bradford subsequently lost to Franklin, who enters this week at #12. Also new to the rankings is #15 Sun Prairie, winners of three straight and eight of their last nine.

Division 2

Waunakee won the year's second "Battle of #1's" on Saturday when they defeated D5's top-ranked team Randolph 51-31. The other #1 vs. #1 match-up was earlier this year when Onalaska dropped a game against Aquinas. This week saw the same result for the injury-depleted Hilltoppers, who 3rd to 6th. Wisconsin Lutheran slides into the #2 spot while Two Rivers, New Richmond, and Seymour round out the top five. The Thunder lost their third game of the year over the weekend at Appleton West. It was not good to be in the bottom half of the D2 rankings, as every team ranked from #9 to #15, with the exception of Rice Lake, lost at least once last week. The Warriors move up to #9 this week, while McFarland and River Falls are the only teams that lost last week to hang in this week's rankings. Astoundingly, the seven teams ranked from #9 to #15 this week have a combined 41 losses; Division 2 was definitely a battle of attrition this year.

Division 3

Division 3 continued to stake its claim to the deepest and overall best (comparatively) division in the state. As previously mentioned, the bottom seven teams in D2 alone combined for 41 losses; all of D3 has just 42 defeats on the year. Aquinas maintains the #1 ranking after handling Onalaska Monday night, although former #2 Racine St. Catherine's was knocked off not once, but twice last week with Dominican and Racine Lutheran doing the honors. The Angels fall to #7 while Dominican moves up to #5. G-E-T, East Troy, and Brillion occupy spots 2 through 4. Roncalli, who was nipped at the buzzer by Brillion last week, slips from #4 to #6. Clinton and River Valley are new to this week's poll in spots 14 and 15 respectively.

Division 4

An impressive win over Division 2 La Crosse Logan allowed top-ranked Blair-Taylor to put a little separation between themselves and 2nd-ranked Oostburg this week. Marathon was knocked from the ranks of the unbeatens by Auburndale and drop from #3 to #6 this week. Regis, Racine Lutheran, and Laconia now round out the top five. Colby and Bangor sneak back into this week's top fifteen.

Division 5

Randolph remains the top team in Division 5 despite falling for a third time this year at Waunakee. There's no shame in that of course, as the Warriors are the #1 ranked team in Division 2. Benton continues to occupy the second position. Prentice went down in a shocker at Phillips (who were just 1-6 in conference before that game) and drop from #3 to #6. Green Bay NEW Lutheran dropped a non-league battle at Suring in a match-up of two of the top teams in D5, with the Blazers falling to #8 this week.

The WSN/WBCA Coaches Poll is published every Tuesday afternoon on WisSports.net. This is the last poll of the 2010-11 season.
