Favorite Sport: “Honestly, I kind of like all of them for different things. I love volleyball, and the games are so much fun in basketball. I guess you could say I like softball the best because I like everything about it. But it’s not like I’m knocking the other sports. It’s really hard to choose.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Undoubtedly, making different groups of friends in each sport. The friendships you make are so special. You’ll never forget the friendships or meeting new people. Being a part of a team, you learn good life skills like being on time and doing your part, things like that.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “There have been a lot of great games, but the one that sticks out the most for me is my sophomore year we went to Oak Creek in softball for the regional final and beat them 3-0. Our pitcher was one hit away from a no hitter. It was really special because they had beaten us pretty badly during the regular season.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “That would be from my softball coach, Jill Stobber. She always stressed working hard to be a good all-around person, both on and off the field. Also to work hard at everything in life and if you do that, you’ll find success.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “Making new friends, but also I really enjoy the transition between the three sports. Volleyball is fun, but then you look forward to basketball. And then during basketball, you also look forward to softball. It’s also nice to exercise every day.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The advantages significantly outweigh the disadvantages. You really have to be on top of your time management skills. Between practices, games and homework, you have to be on top of everything. But like I said, the advantages far outweigh any disadvantages.”

Favorite Opponents: “I always like playing the teams that are good. In softball, it’s usually Wilmot and Union Grove. Our biggest rival is probably Union Grove in basketball. I like being the underdog because I think it makes you play better as a team.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Teams: Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers.

Cumulative GPA: 4.125.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “It’s definitely Alana Cesarz of Delavan-Darien. She is a basketball player and is one of the most complete players that I’ve had to guard. It’s kind of cool because we are friends off the court, too.”

College Plans: “I am admitted and committed to the University of Wisconsin. I will be majoring in communicative disorders to eventually become a speech pathologist. I probably won’t compete in sports at the collegiate level, but I do plan to take part in a bunch of intramurals as a pastime.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society president, Student Council treasurer, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Peer Listener, Community Helpers and Student Educators (CHASE), Knowledge Masters Open/Academic Bowl team.

I Find it Relaxing to: “In my spare time, I love hanging out with my friends. We go to movies and I like to read, too. Basically, just hang out with friends and family.”

Favorite TV show: Glee.

Favorite Movie: Forrest Gump, Hitch.

Favorite Subject: “I like them all.”

Favorite Websites: www.facebook.com, www.pandora.com.

What’s On Your Ipod: “I have everything and anything. Anything from Lady Gaga to Taylor Swift. I love music.”

Other Family Members: Father, Steve; mother, Sandy; younger sister, Caila.
