The Lions went 7-0 in the month of February, highlighted by the biggest victory of the season. Avenging its only loss of the year, Brillion rallied for a thrilling 50-49 victory at rival Roncalli on February 15th. Trailing by two as time ticked down in the fourth quarter, junior Ryan Reinke hit a three-point shot, his first of the year, with six seconds left to give the Lions a 50-49 lead, which held up when Roncalli's Ben Stelzer saw a last second jumper rim out. The win helped Brillion secure a share of the Olympian Conference crown with Roncalli at 17-1.

He scored at least 20 in all seven of his team's February games, averaging 27.4 for the month. In tough road losses at one-loss teams Roncalli and Two Rivers, Schwoerer scored 29 and 28 points respectively, doing all he could to keep the Vikings in the game. He set a season-high with 36 points in the final regular season game against Saint Mary Central. That lastest only a week however, as just last night (Tuesday, March 1) he scored 38 points in a come from behind playoff win over New Holstein. He became the school's all-time leading scorer early in the second half.
