Three players who led their respective teams to decisive conference championships top the list of players on the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 4 All-State squad.

Eau Claire Regis senior Connor Miller, Marathon senior Cody Hanke and Blair-Taylor senior Hank Kujak led their schools to league titles and are unanimous choices on the Division 3 WBCA All-State team, released today on WisSports.net.

Miller, a 6-foot-3 point guard, led Regis to a 22-2 record under longtime coach Bill Uelmen. A terrific long-distance shooter who can also get to the rim, Miller averaged 22.2 points per game for the Ramblers, who won the Western Division of the Cloverbelt Conference. He plans to play college basketball next season at NCAA Division I Samford University.

Hanke, a 6-3 forward, is a solid all-around athlete who competes with passion and poise for coach Jeff Reiche. Hanke is averaging a team-best 24.1 ppg and led Marathon to a spot in the WIAA Division 4 State Tournament as well as the championship in the Southern Division of the Marawood Conference.

Kujak, a 6-2 point guard, does a bit of everything for unbeaten Blair-Taylor, which advanced to the WIAA Division 4 State Tournament and won the Large Schools Division of the Dairyland Conference. A good ball handler and passer, Kujak averages a team-best 14.2 ppg for an extremely balanced and talented Blair-Taylor squad.

Other first-team members include Laconia senior Zach DeBoer, Darlington senior Alex Erickson, Racine Lutheran senior Dylan Graf, Oostburg senior Mike Keller, Amherst senior Jordan Lutz, Grantsburg senior Brent Myers and Colfax senior Tom Wahl.

DeBoer, a 6-0 guard, helped Laconia to a share of the Wisconsin Flyway Conference title with Omro by averaging 14.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for coach Tom King. DeBoer’s production was especially impressive after he sat out the entire summer with a knee injury.

Erickson, a talented all-around athlete and 6-2 guard, led Darlington to a share of the Southwest Wisconsin Activities League championship with Cuba City. Erickson averaged a team-high 21.2 ppg for coach Mike Hopkins.

Graf, a physical and mobile 6-4 forward, led Racine Lutheran to a spot in the sectional finals where they lost to Oostburg, and a second-place finish in the Southern Division of the Midwest Classic Conference by averaging 15.3 ppg for coach Jeff Christensen. Graf is a three-year varsity letter winner for the Crusaders.

Keller, a 6-4 forward, is the top player for an Oostburg program that took a 26-0 record and a Central Lakeshore Conference championship into the WIAA Division 4 State Tournament. Keller averages 14 points per outing for coach Jeff Bruggink.

Lutz, a 6-5 wing player, sparked Amherst to the championship in the Central Wisconsin Eight Conference by averaging 16.7 ppg for coach Gregg Jensen. An athletic and versatile player who can score from the perimeter or in the lane, Lutz popped in 26 points in a late-season victory over Stevens Point Pacelli.

Myers, a 6-0 guard, helped Grantsburg to a runner-up finish to Luck in the Western Division of the Lakeland Conference. Myers averages 14.1 ppg and helped the Pirates to a spot in the WIAA Division 4 State Tournament by scoring 12 points against Colfax in the sectional championship game.

Wahl, a 6-5 forward, helped Colfax capture the championship in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference by averaging 17.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for coach Andy Meade. Wahl is a three-year varsity performer for the Vikings.
