Regis Ramblers

WSN/WBCA State Ranking: No. 1

State History: Third appearance, One title (2002)

Notes: Regis won its second Cloverbelt West title in the past three seasons, and is the first undefeated league champion since 2006... The Ramblers suffered their only defeat of the season in the season finale Cloverbelt Crossover against Neillsville... Regis beat its four postseason opponents by over 32 points on average... Regis has the highest RPI (.667) in Division 4 and ranks fourth in D4 points per game with Three Ramblers average double-digit points, led by University of Wisconsin commit Heather Bowe's 17 and Haley Collins and Katie Stone's 11.3 and 10.9 respective points per game. Bowe also averages 8.7 rebounds per game... The Ramblers have just four seniors on their roster and its seven leading scorers are juniors or sophomores.

Westby Norsemen

State History: First appearance

Notes: Westby won its first Coulee Conference crown with a perfect 12-0 record after going just 3-9 in conference play two seasons ago... The Norsemen played some of the closest postseason games, dropping Luther in overtime and escaping Belleville by one point in the sectional final... Westby's only loss of the season came at a holiday tournament to Royall by one point... Westby ranks in the top 12 in Division 4 offense, defense and RPI... With an enrollment of 326, Westby is the second-largest school in Division 4, three students more than fellow state semfinalist Oostburg... Two players average double-figures for Westby, seniors Jenna Engh and sophomore Abby Midtlien with 15 and 11 points even respectively.

Algoma Wolves

Records: 25-1, 13-1 Packerland (1st Place, Co-champ with Kewaunee)

State History: Sixth appearance, two titles (1981, 86)

Notes: Algoma won its fourth straight Packerland Conference title, this season sharing it with Division 3 state semifinalist Kewaunee. The Wolves' lone loss of the season came to the Storm, four-point difference in early February... Algoma ranks second in offensive average (67.4) and RPI (.626) in Division 4, as well as eighth in points allowed (33.2)... Algoma has scored more than 80 points four times this season, twice coming in the playoffs... Sophomore and Packerland Player of the Year Taylor Schmidt leads the Wolves with 13.7 points per game, while junior Karissa LeCaptain adds 12.5... Algoma has just two seniors on its roster as its underslassmen score 89 percent of the Wolves' points.

Oostburg Flying Dutchmen

Records: 23-3, 18-0 Central Lakeshore (1st Place)
WSN/WBCA State Ranking: No. 8

State History: Ninth appearance, Three titles (1990, 94, 2008)

Notes: Oostburg won its fifth Central Lakeshore Conference title in the past six years after an undefeated 18-0 campaign... Oostburg will make its fifth straight state appearance and seventh in the past nine years... The Lady Dutch's three losses this season came against Sheboygan County rivals North and Falls, as well as a mid-January battle with Milwaukee Vincent... Oostburg tied for fifth in Division 4 with a .613 RPI... Oostburg has no players averaging over double-digit points, but Allie Paluchniak, Maranda Huibregtse and Alli VanStelle all average over eight points apiece... Oostburg is the tallest team in the Division 4 field, with three players over 6-feet tall... Ten different players have started a game for the Dutch this season.
