Favorite Sport: “That is a tough question. It’s right between basketball and softball. I love basketball because of the intensity of it. It’s also a great team sport. I like softball because it’s more of an individual sport, though it is also a team sport. There is a lot of thinking in the game in softball as well.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “The team chemistry and being able to meet a lot of different people. I also enjoyed advancing my skills from freshmen year all the way to my senior year.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “My junior year, we played Grantsburg in the regional finals. It was probably the best gave I played as an individual, and our entire team played great as well. It was a great game and even though we lost 1-0, it still remains my favorite game.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “The best advice came from my basketball coach, Luke Fritsche. He told me to take time for myself and go out and attend a play or opera. He said not to overstress on things.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “You really get to meet a lot of different people. You learn so much from different people. You aren’t always with the same people. You also figure out which sport you love and which sport you want to excel at.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “It’s definitely the toll it takes on your body. If you are good in one sport, you are expected to be good in other sports. You want people to be proud of you, so keeping up that image can be tough at times.”

Favorite Opponents: “I love competing against Elk Mound. They bring good competition, but they are also very respectful. They are nice girls to play against.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Team: Green Bay Packers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.70.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Kelly Stewart from Amery in basketball. She’s a great athlete. She is super fast and tall. She’s going Division I for college basketball at the University of South Dakota. She’s good, but she’s also very nice. I love playing against her.”

College Plans: “Next year, I am going to UW-Eau Claire to play softball. I plan to major in secondary education math and minor in Spanish and coaching.”
