BASEBALL

Position

Brooks Braga, Sophomore (Middleton, Wis.), Outfield of UW-La Crosse
Braga hit .464 (13-of-28) in six starts during the week. He had four multi-hit games, including going six-of-10 in UW-La Crosse's sweep at St. Olaf College (Minn.) May 4.  Braga went five-of-eight at No. 11-ranked UW-Whitewater May 6.  He had two home runs and five RBI in the nightcap against the Warhawks.  For the week, Braga had nine RBI, four doubles, three home runs, three stolen bases and one triple.

Pitcher

Garrett Scray, Junior (De Pere, Wis./West), Righthanded Pitcher of UW-La Crosse
Scray pitched 13.0 innings in three appearances, allowing no runs.  He earned a save at St. Olaf College (Minn.) May 4, going 1.0 inning with a strikeout and tossed another hitless inning in the second game against the Oles.  Scray had a no-decision at No. 11-ranked UW-Whitewater May 7, pitching 11.0 innings, allowing seven hits while striking out five.  For the week, he allowed seven hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in 13.0 innings.
