Football Honors: A three-four varsity performer for coach Todd Stoffel … Played defensive end and tight end the past two years and served as the Red Raiders punter and kicker the past three seasons … A first-team all-league pick in the Marawood Conference at both defensive end and tight end in each of the past two seasons … Earned All-Region honors at defensive end as a junior and All-Region laurels at tight end as a senior … Led Marathon in receiving yardage the past two seasons and scored four touchdowns as a senior.
 
Basketball Honors: Three-year varsity letter winner for Jeff Reiche … Averaged a team-high 24.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as a senior while leading Marathon to a 27-1 record and the WIAA Division 4 state championship … Earned first-team all-state honors among Division 3 players as a junior and first-team all-state laurels among Division 4 athletes as a senior from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association … Named third-team all-state as a senior by the Associated Press … Scored 24 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had five steals in Marathon’s 52-43 victory over Grantsburg in the Division 4 championship game … A 6-foot-4 forward who played on top of the Red Raiders’ impressive 1-3-1 zone trap defense.
 
Baseball Honors: Four-year varsity letter winner for Steve Warren ... A left-handed pitcher who regularly clocks in at 83-85 miles per hour with his fastball … Went unbeaten on the mound as a senior … Earned first-team all-league honors in the Southern Division of the Marawood Conference in each of the past two seasons ...First Team WBCA All-State choice as a junior and Third Team All-State as a senior … Also plays first base for the Red Raiders.  
 
Favorite Sport: “I would probably say basketball because I’ve been playing that sport since the second grade through the Wausau YMCA team. I had a lot of my friends on the same team so we’ve been playing together for a long time.”
 
Best Part of High School Sports: “Getting the opportunity to play with your friends. Playing games all year round is a lot of fun.”
 
Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Winning the state championship in basketball my senior year was one of my best moments. That was our goal from day one. The last two years, we came up one game short. We really wanted to push through this year.”
 
Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The variety of sports. You won’t get sick of playing just one sport all the time. You get to jump from one sport to another. You get to be with your friends and get the challenge of playing multiple sports.”
 
Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “No breaks. We go deep in all of our seasons. You go from one sport to the next. That is probably the hardest part of being a three-sport athlete.”
 
Favorite Opponents: “Pacelli for baseball because we play them every year in the playoffs. The games go down to the wire every time. I really enjoy playing Pacelli in baseball.”
 
Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.
 
Favorite Professional Teams: Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks.
 
Cumulative GPA: 3.20.
 
Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Ben Stelzer from Manitowoc Roncalli. I don’t think I’ve ever seen somebody who could shoot the ball like he can. I played against Ben my sophomore year in the sectional finals.”
 
College Plans: “I’m deciding between Stevens Point and Whitewater right now. I will be studying business administration and will probably play baseball in college.”
 
Activities Outside of Sports: Future Business Leaders of America, help out with various youth camps for all the sports through Marathon High School.
 
I Find it Relaxing to: “Watch a movie or play video games.”
 
Favorite TV show: SportsCenter.
 
Favorite Movie: The Other Guys.  
 
Favorite Musical Artists: “Rap and country music. I pretty much like anybody from those two categories.”
