The final Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association spring baseball poll of the season is out. It was released prior to play today with regional semifinals taking place across the state leading into Friday’s regional finals.

For the third straight week there are three new No. 1 ranked teams in the polls with only Altoona holding onto their spot from last week.

The two-time defending champions in Division 1, Bay Port, takes on the top spot heading into the postseason with Union Grove following right behind.

In Division 2, Altoona retains the No. 1 spot with Mauston right behind in the No. 2 slot as the top five in the division got shuffled with last week’s No. 2 Ripon falling to the No. 4 spot.

In Division 3, Stevens Point Pacelli, the No. 3 ranked team last week, is the new No. 1. Behind the Cardinals, things got turned upside down as things straightened out after the brackets were released last week. The biggest sign of that is the inclusion of Aquinas in the poll, at No. 4, after not being ranked last week.

Barneveld holds the top spot in Division 4, moving up from the No. 2 spot, and is the only undefeated team left in the state.

You can check last week’s rankings, here.
