Kidney cancer benefit to raise funds for former Wauwatosa West coach Mike Landisch
A benefit for former Wauwatosa West coach Mike Landisch is being held on September 16, 2011 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Kelly’s Bleachers at 5218 W Bluemound Road in Milwaukee.
A $15 cover charge/donation entitles all in attendance to a silent auction and raffle, live music from Travesty and free soda and hors d’oeuvres.
Landisch is fighting kidney cancer and was recently admitted to a hospice in the Milwaukee area. He has a three-year-old daughter and an infant son.
The benefit will help raise funds for the battle Landisch and his family face. The event is open to the entire community.
Landisch served as the boys’ varsity basketball coach at Wauwatosa West the past four seasons.
