FOOTBALL

Offense

Taylor Edwards, Senior (Beloit, Wis./Janesville Parker), Halfback of UW-River Falls

Edwards was the team's top offensive threat in a 42-20 loss at No. 22-ranked Trine University (Ind.) on Sept. 17.  He rushed for 240 yards and scored one touchdown.  Edwards carried the ball 34 times and averaged 7.1 yards per carry.  His touchdown came on a 14-yard run midway through the fourth quarter.  Edwards had a long run of 31 yards and his 240 yards was the second-highest total of his career.

Defense
Ryan McWethy, Junior (Oregon, Ill.), Defensive Back of UW-Platteville

McWethy led the Pioneer defense with 12 tackles, including nine solo stops in a 23-14 loss to No. 7-ranked Wheaton College (Ill.).  He also was involved in 2.5 tackles for loss for a negative six yards.

Special Teams
Ronnie Blaszkowski, Junior (Oak Forest, Ill.), Defensive Back of UW-Whitewater

Blaszkowski blocked a punt in the second quarter that UW-Whitewater recovered at the Campbellsville 30 yard line.  Two plays later, the Warhawks scored a touchdown enroute to a 54-14 victory.
