Logan Emendorfer of Platteville has been selected as the Week 6 WSN Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. Emendorfer was prolific in the Hillmen's important SWC win over Prairie du Chien on Friday. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. Emendorfer received 3571 votes, or 46.9% of the total votes cast, outpacing runner-up Jarret Rhenlund of Hurley who finished with 35.1%.

In a key SWC matchup, Emendorfer did a bit of everything for the Hillmen as they pulled away for a 51-14 win over Prairie du Chien. He completed 11 of 14 passes for 272 yards with 5 touchdowns and also ran for a two-yard score in the first quarter. After Prairie du Chien went ahead 7-3 with 3:22 left in the first quarter, Emendorfer had a hand in four straight touchdowns to help the Hillmen pull away and move to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WSN Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 7 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
