The boys volleyball coaches poll was released today for Week 5, and no surprises in the No. 1 and 2 positions again this week. Top-ranked Marquette improved its season record to 3-1 against No. 2 Catholic Memorial after beating the Crusaders in the Middleton Cardinal Invite last weekend and again was the unanimous choice for the No. 1 spot again this week. A pair of Fox Valley Association squads both moved up two spots respectively, as Kaukauna moved to No. 3 and Appleton North improved to No. 7. Kenosha Tremper held steady at No. 6 as the only undefeated team left in the state on the boys side at 19-0. Burlington and Germantown earned 26 votes apiece, edging surprise Shorewood, which earned the highest Honorable Mention, in the final spot in this week's poll.

The Wisconsin Boys Volleyball Coaches Association poll is conducted by John Simon and Brad Kuehl. Full archives of the coaches' poll can  be found on the Rankings page here.
